Coast Lacrosse Recruiting Philosophy

Coast Lacrosse Club provides athletes and families with the most experienced recruiting staff in Southern California. Our coaching staff has placed more than 90 student athletes in college programs.

The recruiting process at Coast begins with education and setting proper expectations for our players and their families. These expectations are set around an open conversations with players about their abilities, grades, test scores, and goals they wish to personally accomplish through their college experience.

We know that open lines of communication are crucial in this process between everyone who is involved. This is why we are committed to having open discussions with not only our players, but their families, high school coaches, and college coaches as well.

Beginning in 9th grade, Coast will educate players and families on the process and explain the expectations for the following three years in our program. The college recruiting cycle is ever changing, so laying the proper groundwork with education and player appropriate expectations is crucial.

Coast Members will also be able to review supporting documents that provide more information based around recruiting meetings and conversations had throughout the year. These are members-only documents that can be accessed when logged in to our site.

Our staff will provide the tools and guidance necessary to navigate the college recruiting cycle, but ultimately it is up to the players and families to do their due diligence in order to succeed.
